IMS Unison University provides undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and doctoral courses in management, law, media, hospitality, computer application and arts. BBA, MBA, BA LLB, BCom (Hons), BA (Economics), MCA and PhD are the popular choices. In most of the UG programs, the eligibility criteria are 10+2 with 45% marks (40% SC/ST/Uttarakhand OBC) and English. A relevant bachelor's degree is usually expected to take up its PG course whereas a winning position on the course of PhD needs a masters degree with 55% marks. The university mainly applies for merit entry; other courses (e.g., BA Journalism and Mass Communication) can have additional tests. The university even provides a waiver in tuition fee of high academic achievers, 95%+ aggregate being the highest to waive 100%.

IMS Unison University is now open for admissions 2026-27 (all courses-undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral). It is an all-online process and applicants have to pay an application fee of INR 1000. The eligibility requirements depend on the program; in most of the UG courses candidates should have passed 10+2 with at least 45 marks and English as a subject (relaxation to reserved categories); the PG programs require a related bachelor degree, and PHD candidates must possess a masters degree of at least 55% marks. There is also majority merit-based admission, although certain courses have extra entrance examinations and/or personal interviews.
