Srm Joint Engineering Entrance Examination

SRMJEEE 2026 is an entrance exam conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) for students who wish to pursue engineering courses, such as B.Tech, after completing Class 12. This exam is held three times a year and is conducted in online mode from home (remote proctored exam). Students from any part of India can apply.

The test checks knowledge in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology, English, and Aptitude. There are 125 multiple-choice questions, and students get 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the exam. Each correct answer gives one mark, and there’s no negative marking, which means students won’t lose marks for wrong answers.

To apply, students must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Maths/Biology in their Class 12 and scored at least 60% marks for most campuses. The exam fee is ₹ 1,400, and the entire application process is conducted online through the official SRMIST website.

After the exam, results are declared online, and selected students are invited for online counselling to choose their course and campus. This exam gives students an excellent opportunity to join one of India’s top private engineering universities.
