UEM Kolkata, Kolkata, West Bengal, offers BBA LL.B. (Hons.) as a 5-year undergraduate degree. There are 60 seats in each batch.

Expect to spend most of your time on how organisations run: accounting, marketing, finance, human resources, operations and business communication, usually with case studies and an internship.

UEM Kolkata is a other institute, founded in 2014. This page brings together what is on record for this course at UEM Kolkata — fees, seats, eligibility, the admission route and placements — so you can judge it before you apply.

Most BBA LL.B. programmes follow a similar pattern: the first year builds the foundations, the middle years go deep into the subject, and the final year is given over to electives, a major project and usually an internship.

Here that means how organisations run: accounting, marketing, finance, human resources, operations and business communication, usually with case studies and an internship. Typical first jobs: management trainee, business development, sales, marketing or operations roles. Many graduates also go on to a master's degree.

The exact syllabus is set by the college or its affiliating university and changes from year to year, so ask UEM Kolkata for the current semester-wise plan.

UEM Kolkata has not published a fee for BBA LL.B. (Hons.) on our record yet. When you ask, ask for the total across all 5 years — not just the first-year figure — and whether hostel and exam fees are included.

To get into BBA LL.B. (Hons.), you usually need Class 12 in any stream. The minimum marks on record at UEM Kolkata are: X: 0.0, XII: 60.0, Graduation: 0.0.

In most years, admission follows these steps:

1. Check that you meet the eligibility above and register for the entrance exam in time.
2. Take CUET, IPMAT and a college's own test and keep your scorecard.
3. Apply to UEM Kolkata on its website (www.uem.edu.in/uem-kolkata) or through the enquiry form on this page, and take part in counselling if a state or central body runs it.
4. Once you are offered a seat, verify your documents (marksheets, ID, category certificate if any) and pay the admission fee to confirm it.

The most recent placement data we hold (2024) show an average package of ₹8.48 lakh and a highest package of ₹72 lakh at UEM Kolkata. These are college-wide figures, not only for this specialisation.

Placement numbers vary a lot by year and by branch. Ask the placement cell for the branch-wise report of the last two batches.

Ask yourself — and the college — these questions first:

• Are you genuinely interested in how organisations run? You will spend 5 years on it.
• What will the full course cost, including hostel and living costs?
• Are the placement figures above good enough for your goals? Ask for the branch-wise numbers.
• How does UEM Kolkata compare with other colleges offering BBA LL.B. in and around Kolkata?
