Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR), established in 1956 by industrialist Lala Shri Ram in memory of his wife Phoolan Devi, began in Daryaganj with just over 240 students, nine faculty and four support staff; it now occupies a modern 15‑acre campus in Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi, with around 2,000+ students and 150 faculty members. The college offers a diverse range of undergraduate programmes including B.A. (Hons) in Economics, English, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Sanskrit, Sociology, Psychology, Hindi; B.Com (Hons); B.Sc (Hons) in Mathematics and Statistics; B.El.Ed; and Journalism & Mass Communication as well as postgraduate degrees (M.A./M.Sc in key disciplines) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Conflict Transformation & Peace‑building, all affiliated with the University of Delhi.

LSR Admission 2026

Admission to Lady Shri Ram College is based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by NTA. For undergraduate programs, candidates must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks and appear for CUET-UG, while postgraduate admissions require a relevant bachelor's degree and CUET-PG score.
