IIM Bangalore provides such flagship courses as two-year MBA (PGP), one-year Executive MBA (EPGP), part time MBA (PGPEM), and doctoral (PhD) programs. Instead of the decision based on entrance examination, authorities admit learners according to CAT/GMAT/GRE results, followed by WAT and PI.

IIM Bangalore foundational MBA (PGP) and EPGP programme has a very competitive process of admission student must have a bachelor degree and at least 50% marks (45% SC/ST/PwD). Valid CAT scores have to be submitted by the applicant to PGP or the GMAT/GRE scores have to be submitted by the applicant to EPGP. They have a Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) which tests the analytical, communication and leadership skills of the candidates. The international applicants should submit an official GMAT/GRE score report with official codes.
