Global Media Common Entrance Test

The Global Media Common Entrance Test (GMCET) 2026 is an online exam conducted by the Global Media Education Council (GMEC) for admission to undergraduate media courses like BA-JMC, BJMC, BMS, BMC, and BMM. The exam is held multiple times between April and September.

The test is 60 minutes long and consists of 100 questions, divided into four sections: English Language & IQ, General Knowledge, Entertainment Media, and Brands & Brand Communication. Each correct answer gives one mark, and there is no negative marking.

4. Submit the Form: After successful payment, submit the application form.
5. Download Application Summary: Save the application summary from your GMCET profile or email for future use.
6. Appear for the Exam: Take the GMCET online exam at your allotted time slot and log in at least 15 minutes before it starts.
7. Check Results: View your result on the official website using your login credentials, as no hard copy will be sent.

GMCET 2026 Syllabus

The Global Media Education Council (GMEC) has not given a detailed syllabus for the entrance exam. However, the official website mentions that the exam has four sections:

GMCET 2026 Result

The revised details for GMCET 2026 results have not yet been released. Below is the important information based on the previous year's process. The GMCET results will be declared only on the official GMCET 2026 website. Candidates can check their results by logging in with the user ID and password created during registration. Scorecards can be downloaded from the website, but no hard copies will be sent by post or email.

3. View and download the GMCET Scorecard from the website.
4. Note that the Scorecard will not be sent by post or email.
5. All candidates who qualify will receive a common merit rank (All India Rank).
