Visva Bharati University is a Central University in Santiniketan, West Bengal which was founded in 1921 by Rabindranath Tagore. The university has BA, B.Sc, BFA, BSW, MA, M.Sc, MFA, MEd, PhD and diploma programs in diverse fields. The UG courses are mostly of three years, PG courses of two years and PhD is of variable duration. The undergraduate/postgraduate admissions are on a CUET basis and a departmental test in case of some programs.

Admissions are conducted online through the CUET for most UG and PG courses, and via departmental tests for select programs.
