Tamil Nadu Agricultural University is one of the best state universities in the field of Agriculture and Animal Sciences in Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu and was founded in the year 1971. TNAU has a wide range of programs; that deal with agriculture, horticulture, engineering, as well as sciences. Most UG courses do not have an entrance exam, rather the merit-based admissions. Depending on the course and type, fees cost approx INR 25,000 to INR 60,000 every year.

The admission to TNAU 2025 is open for undergraduate courses, diploma courses, as well as post-graduate and doctorate programs in agriculture and allied sciences. For UG and diploma courses, admission is merit based and under TNAU rank list with no entrance exam being conducted. To apply, applicants have to sign up and complete the application form online by uploading the needed papers. The rank list shall be used to decide who is eligible to receive counseling along with allocation of seats. For PG and Ph.D. courses are selected through qualifying marks and performance in entrance tests. The procedure involves document verification, counseling and eventual admission confirmation.
