Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (SVVU), founded in 2005, is a state university that is situated in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. It is recognized by UGC and is graded as A by NAAC and has the permits of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and Veterinary Council of India (VCI). VVU is one of the leading veterinary institutions evaluated by the region, concerned with the education on animal health. In total, the university is connected to four veterinary schools and has more than 1,500 students each year.
