Rama Devi Women’s University (RDWU), Bhubaneswar, traces its origins to 1964, when it began as Government Women’s College affiliated with Utkal University. In 2015, under the RUSA scheme, it was elevated to university status, becoming Odisha’s first women’s university, formally inaugurated on December 3, 2015.
