National Institute of Technology, Sikkim (NIT Sikkim), established in 2010, is a fully autonomous public engineering institution located in Ravangla, Sikkim, and designated as an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. NIT Sikkim Admission 2026

Entrance tests at the national level are used to determine admission to the National Institute of Technology Sikkim. Candidates for B.Tech must be eligible for JEE Main and take part in JoSAA/CSAB counselling; a minimum of 75% in Class 12 (65% for reserved categories) is required. While non-GATE applicants can apply for the remaining seats using the Institute Admission Test (IAT), M.Tech admissions are made through GATE via CCMT. A valid IIT-JAM score or IAT and a related bachelor's degree are prerequisites for admission to the M.Sc. program.
