The National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research also known as NITTTR was established in 1965 as the first among four technical teacher training institutes in India, and plays a pioneering role in enhancing the quality of technical education in the country. NITTTR Admission 2026
Both M.Tech and Ph.D. programs of the National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research (NITTTR), Kolkata, are open for admission. Candidates must have a valid GATE (or similar) score and a relevant B.E./B.Tech degree with at least 55% of the possible points (with CGPA or category-specific relaxations) in order to be considered for an M.Tech. Final selection will be made through MAKAUT counselling, which includes document verification and payment of fees.
