Junagadh Agricultural University (JAU) is a state agricultural university established in 2004 at Junagadh in Gujarat. Under the recognition of the UGC, JAU is a mission-driven institution that aims at contributing to education, research, and extension in agriculture and allied sciences. The university is under the jurisdiction of a number of districts in Saurashtra namely Junagadh, Jamnagar, Rajkot, Porbandar, etc. JAU has a very broad selection of undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and certificate courses in agriculture, horticulture, agricultural engineering, veterinary science and management of agri-business.
The university has seven affiliated colleges, and focuses on job training and technology transfer, industry co-operation and Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs).
