Most B.Tech programmes follow a similar pattern: the first year builds the foundations (mathematics, science and programming), the middle years go deep into the subject, and the final year is given over to electives, a major project and usually an internship.

Here that means how machines learn from data: programming in Python, probability and statistics, machine learning, neural networks, computer vision and natural language processing, with projects on real datasets. Typical first jobs: machine learning engineer, AI developer, data scientist or research engineer. Many graduates also go on to a master's degree.

The exact syllabus is set by the college or its affiliating university and changes from year to year, so ask Inderprastha Engineering College for the current semester-wise plan.

Here is how the fee on record breaks down. Fees are for the whole course unless marked otherwise.

Colleges revise fees most years, and hostel, transport and exam charges are often billed separately. Confirm the current figure with Inderprastha Engineering College before you pay anything.
