B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering (Lateral Entry) at Inderprastha Engineering College

Inderprastha Engineering College, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, offers B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering (Lateral Entry) as a 3-year undergraduate degree. There are 24 seats in each batch. The total fee on record is ₹3.57 lakh, which works out to about ₹1.19 lakh a year.

Lateral entry lets diploma holders (and, at many colleges, B.Sc. graduates) join directly in the second year, so the degree takes a year less. The subjects are the same as the regular programme from the second year on.
