IIT Guwahati Admission 2026

The IIT Guwahati admission process is simple to enroll students in across a wide range of disciplines. For undergraduate programs such as B.Tech, candidates must qualify the JEE Advanced exam and meet the eligibility criteria of scoring at least 75% marks in Class 12 (65% for SC/ST/PwD) or be in the top 20 percentile of their board. The B.Des program takes students based on their UCEED scores. IIT Guwahati also offers a flexible online B.Sc (Hons) course in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, for which candidates need to complete Class 12th with mathematics and a minimum of 60% marks.

For postgraduate programs like M.Tech, candidates need a valid GATE score and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for reserved categories).
