Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University (RPCAU), one of the Public institutes was founded in 1970 and upgraded as a central university in 2016 and is based in Pusa, Samastipur, Bihar. RPCAU is declared as an Institute of National Significance and is also accredited by UGC and by ICAR. The university has been regularly appearing in NIRF and QS World Rankings as being one of the top agricultural universities in India. Applications are currently open to the UG, PG, and doctoral programs at RPCAU with what one should expect to be ICAR AIEEA or university entrance exams, and passing academic grades as the major criteria. After passing the entrance exam, all students will be required to participate in centralized counseling.
