DJ College of Dental Sciences & Research (DJCDSR), Modinagar, Ghaziabad was established in 1999 by the founder‑chairman Ajit Singh Jassar, making it one of the first five private dental colleges in Uttar Pradesh. Its achievements include having students present 539 papers and 140 posters at national and international conferences and winning more than 100 awards. The college is affiliated with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow and recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI). DJCDSR offers both undergraduate (BDS) and postgraduate (MDS) courses: the BDS program has an annual intake of 100 students, and there are various MDS specialisations including Prosthodontics & Crown & Bridge, Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Periodontology & Implantology, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics, Oral Pathology & Microbiology, Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry, and Oral Medicine & Radiology.
The campus spans 60‑75 acres with WiFi coverage, in‑house residential hostels, a 300‑bed hospital, rich clinical material, well‑equipped labs, diagnostic & imaging facilities, a central automated air‑conditioned library, sports infrastructure (cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, table tennis etc.) and an environment promoting both academic and co‑curricular activities. The NEET entrance exam (NEET-UG for BDS and NEET-PG (Dental) for MDS) is used to admit students to DJ College of Dental Sciences & Research for both BDS and MDS programs.
