Most B.Tech programmes follow a similar pattern: the first year builds the foundations (mathematics, science and programming), the middle years go deep into the subject, and the final year is given over to electives, a major project and usually an internship.

Here that means software development, databases, web technologies and networking, with more weight on applying computing to business systems. Typical first jobs: software developer, IT consultant, network or systems administrator. Many graduates also go on to a master's degree.

The exact syllabus is set by the college or its affiliating university and changes from year to year, so ask SPMVV for the current semester-wise plan.

The fee figures on record for this course are below. Fees are for the whole course unless marked otherwise, and apply to B.Tech programmes at SPMVV as a group.

Colleges revise fees most years, and hostel, transport and exam charges are often billed separately. Confirm the current figure with SPMVV before you pay anything.
