Most B.Tech programmes follow a similar pattern: the first year builds the foundations (mathematics, science and programming), the middle years go deep into the subject, and the final year is given over to electives, a major project and usually an internship.

Here that means circuits, signals and systems, analogue and digital communication, microprocessors and VLSI design. Typical first jobs: electronics engineer, embedded engineer, telecom or semiconductor roles. Many graduates also go on to a master's degree.

The exact syllabus is set by the college or its affiliating university and changes from year to year, so ask IIIT Bhopal for the current semester-wise plan.

This is what the course costs, as recorded. Fees are for the whole course unless marked otherwise, and apply to B.Tech programmes at IIIT Bhopal as a group.

Colleges revise fees most years, and hostel, transport and exam charges are often billed separately. Confirm the current figure with IIIT Bhopal before you pay anything.
