About BITSAT Exam

BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test) is a computer-based online entrance test conducted by BITS Pilani for admission to integrated first-degree programs in Engineering (B.E. Hons.), Sciences (M.Sc. Hons.), and Pharmacy (B.Pharm Hons.) at BITS Pilani (Pilani Campus), BITS Goa, and BITS Hyderabad campuses.

BITSAT is one of the most prestigious engineering entrance exams in India, attracting thousands of students annually. The exam is designed to assess candidates' knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English Proficiency, and Logical Reasoning.

Eligibility Criteria

For B.E. (Hons.) Programs:

  • Candidates must have passed the 12th examination from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • Must have obtained a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects (60% for SC/ST candidates).
  • Must have adequate proficiency in English.
  • Candidates appearing for 12th examination in 2026 are also eligible to apply.

For M.Sc. (Hons.) Programs:

  • Candidates must have passed the 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • Must have obtained a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in PCM (60% for SC/ST).
  • Must have adequate proficiency in English.

For B.Pharm (Hons.) Programs:

  • Candidates must have passed the 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects.
  • Must have obtained a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in PCB (60% for SC/ST).
  • Must have adequate proficiency in English.

Important: Admission to all programs is subject to meeting the eligibility criteria and qualifying in BITSAT 2026. Candidates must also meet the minimum aggregate marks requirement in their 12th examination.
